Meetings
At least eight chapter meetings are held each year, open to all. Check social media for details. These meetings are typically guest speaker programs with calls to action such as rallies, petitions, election activities and lawmaker lobbying. And we have social gatherings just for fun!

ABOUT US
The Charlottesville Chapter of the National Organization for Women has actively engaged in the fight for women's rights for nearly 50 years. Part of the largest network of feminist activists in the U.S., our members work together and partner with other organizations to push for social change.

Through shared experiences and stories, we connect, learn, grow and organize. We educate, march, rally, and lobby. We mentor, support and socialize.

Because there are overlapping social identities and related discrimination, our goals are intersectional and broadly focused on six core priorities: reproductive rights, economic justice, ending violence against women, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, and constitutional equality.

We believe women's rights are human rights.
